Or my inconsolable agony when she left Oklahoma. I'll never forget the sounds of her suffering. We were sixteen the night she was violently assaulted while I helplessly watched. Growing up together, Conor and I shared all our firsts. I kept picturing a man in his late 50's when he narrated.I try to forget her. The males voice reminded me of the older actor from the show 3rd Rock From The Sun and had a really hard time getting past that.

He did a good job, but his voice just didn't match up to the character IMO. My only complaint about this one would be the Male narration.

There are few authors that I have found in my 500+ book library that do this to me. I found myself having to stop everything else around me and just listen. I tend to multitask and listen while I do other things at the same time (like work or play mindless video games). This book was absolutely amazing and held me captivated and wondering what was going to happen entire time. I have many more sitting in my library and tend to space them out a bit, knowing they will be a little darker in content. This is my 5th Pam Godwin listen and I have yet to find a book by her that I don't like. This book was amazing, word for word from start to finish.

The romance is slow burn but once it ignites it is hot! Overall it’s a fantastic priest/student taboo romance that was kinky, emotional, and surprising at times as well! Stephanie Rose and J Tipstone narrated this book and were both new to me narrators! Their voices were both enjoyable and easy to listen to! J Tipstone had the perfect deeper voice I imagined for Magnus and Stephanie Rose had the girly higher voice for the 18 year old student you’d imagine! Fantastic casting for these characters! He’s in his mid thirties, fit, and attractive but stern. At the school she meets Father Magnus who is one of the priests in charge. A perfect combo of taboo, age gap and spice!!!Īnother enjoyable taboo romance from Pam Godwin!! This book brought all the taboo moments, spice, and angst! It is a slower burn romance, but the storyline was interesting and kept me captivated! The first line of the book already had me hooked when Tinsley says, “One measly blow job, and it all came crashing down.” She comes from a family of wealth that expects a certain way of living and after she broke those rules her mother is now sending her to a catholic all girls boarding school.
